I am so excited to share photos from a very special session of my beautiful sister's family! She coordinated this photoshoot for Ender's first birthday portraits.
I think every parent is a little nervous before the newest addition to the family arrives; you’re never sure how the siblings will adapt or how the family dynamic will change. Peony and Thyri had such a special sisterly bond when it was just the two of them, and I was a little concerned that bond would be upset after Ender joined. But watching them care for him and develop their own distinctive relationships with him has been amazing. It’s been fun to see Ender mimic both of their behaviors but develop his own personality.
He gets his caring and sweet nature from Peony and his humor and determination from Thyri. He brings immense joy to all around him!
My goal for my children is to give them the tools to thrive and experience life to the fullest. I dream of them finding their passions and then doing everything I can to provide them opportunities to develop through those passions.
