Through all the craziness of COVID, Caitlin and Santino found their May 2020 elopement cancelled. I found the sweetest message from Caitlin in my instagram inbox, and we were able to get her in the books for her rescheduled elopement for August 2021. As the big day came near, a flash flood warning appeared and a convoy schedule from a landslide over the highway posed limited commute time to Ha'ena.
We caravanned through downpour and prayed for the rain to slow, from Hanalei to Ha'ena. As we parked, the rain had begun to clear. The rains had kept the beach empty, and we were gifted intimacy for the ceremony. AoKai led a touching and meaningful ceremony. Fully embracing the land and union of Caitlin and Santino.
